It felt like an ordinary day when Michael walked into a client’s home to install a new security system. But little did he know that his life was about to drastically change.
The homeowner was a Chick-fil-A operator, and he started sharing with Michael about his love for the company and how he cared for his team members. And Michael knew immediately this was something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Two weeks later, he started the application process to become an operator.
After a two-year process, Michael was selected to become an operator. Around that time, that same operator that he met relocated to Alabama, and Chick-fil-A chose Michael to take over his restaurant. It was then that Michael knew he was absolutely where he was meant to be, and he was ready to get to work.
“It’s an honor to be a part of a brand that’s thought of with such high regard. I embrace that challenge to continue to steward the legacy of Chick-fil-A and, hopefully, leave my own positive contribution.”
There’s something special about having a place where you know you can gather with friends, family and coworkers alike, and it just feels like home. Where you and your teammates can celebrate a big win together. Where you can take a breather while on a shopping spree with girlfriends. Or just where you and your family can sit together over a hot meal.
That’s why we at Chick-fil-A Streets at Southglenn will be waiting for you with a smile and a chicken sandwich in hand.
Being nestled in the heart of Centennial, so many schools surround us, and we love to join forces with each of them. Through Spirit Nights, we get to support after-school clubs, booster clubs and teams in their fundraising goals.
We also know what it’s like to work long hours on your feet, serving every guest who comes through our door. So we’re ready to provide a comfortable place to rest and enjoy a meal for all of the folks who work around Streets at Southglenn. And through our Business of the Week promotion, some of them get to enjoy breakfast on the house for a week.
So whether it’s the Arapahoe Warrior football team or a cashier from the grocery store around the corner, everyone knows they have a table waiting for them at Chick-fil-A Streets at Southglenn.
Always Room to Improve
Our vision is to practice excellence through continuous improvement. We hope this is a mindset our employees adopt and apply to all areas of life, well beyond the walls of Chick-fil-A Streets at Southglenn.
A team member may begin their career here as a student in high school, learning the basics of professionalism, like showing up to work on time and with a great attitude. Our desire is for these team members to develop into great employees who maintain a positive outlook on life, know how to work with a team, and desire to grow as a leader. And we hope these characteristics are not only demonstrated on a daily basis with each guest who walks through our doors — but that they become lifelong qualities in our employees.
We know that we can never stop learning as a team. Even if someone has worked for us for five years, there’s always something new to learn and areas where he or she can improve in serving our guests. And that sure keeps us all hard at work.
