As Jason settled into his seat with his meal in front of him, he marveled at the friendliness of the team member behind the counter, the refreshingly clean environment of the dining room and the overall feeling of being at home. It was the perfect first visit to a Chick-fil-A restaurant. And as he took it all in, he began to understand why everyone was encouraging him to become a Chick-fil-A Operator.
After a long military career, Jason was ready for his next adventure. After much encouragement from family and friends — and a few signs he just couldn’t overlook — he submitted his application and eventually became a Chick-fil-A Operator in Santa Rosa, California in 2013.
Now the Operator of Chick-fil-A at Quebec Street, Jason is passionate about providing his guests an experience they won’t forget, very much like his own first visit to that Chick-fil-A in Texas which inspired him to become an Ownerr/Operator.
“I had that first-time guest experience that I want every guest to have who comes into my restaurant.”
Community Inside and Outside the Restaurant
Between dance recitals, swim lessons, sports, parent-teacher conferences and other after-school activities, life is just plain hectic sometimes. Which is why we know how important it is to be able to enjoy some quality family time when you can.
Whether it’s serving you a hot lunch on a busy Saturday or rolling out the red carpet for Daddy Daughter Date Night, there’s nothing we love more than sharing life with you and your family here at Chick-fil-A at Quebec Street.
We’re also passionate about investing in the community outside of our restaurant.
Through Spirit Night fundraisers, we have the opportunity to come alongside local schools and organizations to help them achieve their goals. And through the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy, we get to teach students what it means to be a servant leader and how to serve their communities well.
It’s a privilege to also get to partner with local government to serve the brave men and women who have served our country. Through an annual veteran’s outreach event, homeless veterans have the opportunity to get up to date on their shots, pick up some clothing and enjoy a hot Chick-fil-A sandwich.
Tools for Success
Every team member walks into Chick-fil-A at Quebec Street with a different story. Whether it’s their first job or a step in a new career direction, each comes in with an opportunity to grow and work toward achieving his or her dreams in life.
Our operator, Jason, is passionate about mentoring each of our team members — learning their stories, their struggles, and their aspirations and ultimately finding out how he and his wife (Valerie) can help them along the way. Because he knows that a job at Chick-fil-A is more than just a part-time job at a quick-service restaurant, Jason takes a tremendous amount of pride and ownership into developing others. It’s an opportunity that can set the foundation for the rest of their lives.
College students have can earn tuition reimbursement when they work for us and work hard in school.
We even have a few team members who have the opportunity down the road to enter the Chick-fil-A leadership development program, with aspirations of one day too becoming their very own Chick-fil-A Operator.
