Since he was a kid, Brent knew he wanted to own his own business. So when he finished his time in the military, friends and family encouraged him to look into Chick-fil-A. And after some research, he fell in love with the vision and purpose of the company.
Brent’s first task was taking on a struggling Chick-fil-A inside a mall in Brownwood, Texas. He was passionate about investing back into the community around him — an area he felt had been neglected for too long.
After two years in Texas, Brent and his growing family made the move to Colorado where he settled into his second restaurant in Longmont. And if you ask him, he hopes it’s his last restaurant.
Brent and his wife have fully embraced the Colorado lifestyle filled with skiing and snowboarding trips to the mountains, so he loves to serve the community around his restaurant that shares those same passions.
Loving on Longmont
We love the community in and around our restaurant here in Longmont. Which is why we also love to be a part of getting families out and doing things together.
And there’s something about partnering with the community around you that just makes you feel good. Here at Chick-fil-A Longmont, there’s no better feeling than when we get to hand a sandwich to a child during Daddy Daughter Date Night. Or to see the smiling faces on a family posing with our Cows at the Boulder County Fair.
We also know that loving your community also means lending a helping hand when someone is in need. Our Spirit Night fundraisers provide the perfect opportunity to come alongside schools and organizations working toward a goal — and even someone who just needs help getting back on their feet, even if they live hundreds of miles away.
During the devastating Hurricane Harvey, some fellow Chick-fil-A team members in Houston lost everything, and we knew we just had to help. So we sold cookies in the restaurant to raise money to help begin to rebuild.
“Our mission is to create remarkable dining experiences to make our community better. And we take that to heart,” says Operator Brent Gooch. “Whether it’s making sure they have a meal that nourishes them or just treating them with genuine care and hospitality, we just want to love on those in our community.”
A Fun Work Environment
Every day our goal is to welcome you as our guest into a restaurant that is clean, inviting and ready for you to enjoy a delicious meal. And it’s our team members who work hard to make that goal possible each and every day.
But when you walk through our doors, you’ll also see a group of team members who are having fun and loving what they do. Because we believe that hard work and a job well done should always be paired with a fun and friendly work environment.
Our team members also know that they’ll be taken care of when they come to work at Chick-fil-A Longmont. From leadership development to help with personal finances, we come alongside each team member to help them become better employees and to flourish in their lives inside and outside of the restaurant.
